The Retreads + Darcy Wedd (VIC)
Emerging from the ashes of 1990s Adelaide bands Truck Train Tractor, Tupelo, and The Artisans, The Retreads weave together stories of lust, longing, and regret. Their songs unfold across the vast Australian outback, windswept coastal highways, and lonely modernist truck stops—landscapes where youthful poetry and romantic impulse reign. Drawing inspiration from Gene Clark, Gram Parsons, and the dusty soul of 1960s country music, The Retreads load their influences into the boot of a 1971 Holden HG and veer off course through the lo-fi wilderness of Silver Jews and K Records. After a run of albums and EPs in the early 2000s, The Retreads return in 2025 with Digital Hard Rubbish—a raw, evocative collection of live recordings.

Bush Gothic are celebrating the release of their new album, What Pop People Folk This Popular with an Australian tour. Get ready to have your homely and totally archaic notions of Australian folk music exploded.

The Sea Thieves + Swimsuit
The sea thieves are a collective helmed by Zac Coligan, a South Australian born musician who has never strayed too far from shore. The sea thieves write songs about the night, the slipping of time and the end.
Zac has been involved in Adelaide's rich live music scene for many years, starting his first band "the miltons" in the early 90's. This alt pop outfit gained a strong following and opened up the possibilities that only music can offer. After “the miltons” disbanded, Zac saw out the 90's playing atmospheric & experimental rock in the next outfit "Bergerac". Another project warmly received and understood by the good people of SA.
The Sea Thieves current live experience features a troupe of five seasoned musical legends from some of Adelaide’s finest bands (Flat Stanley, Diplomat, Alana Jagt Band, Ghost Thief & Bergerac) They have worked tirelessly to bring this latest project to the stage and proudly present “Disquiet” live. The third songbook from the sea thieves sets a melancholic tone and steers us towards rough seas, somewhere we always feel compelled to go…

East of Everything - Sam Brittain & Tara Coates + B.R. Dalton (WA)
Sam Brittain and Tara Coates (nee Carragher) present East of Everything.
A selection of the pair’s co-written folk/americana music.
The two singer/songwriters became fast friends in 2015, bonding over a shared love of Jason Isbell, Lucinda Williams, drinking whiskey, and complaining. What followed was a collaboration that rather annoyingly produced a collection of some of the best songs either of the two staunchly independent solo artists had ever written, featuring soaring harmonies and duel acoustic guitars.
Sam and Tara will be supported by a special guest, B.R. Dalton (WA).

The third in a series of concerts comprising exceptional musicians performing stylistically diverse compositions featuring unique artists and their heartfelt narratives.
The Vatican comprises four of Adelaide’s most culturally diverse, experienced, and respected musicians.
Headed by former London-based musicians, the effusive Enrico Morena, probably the most skilled drummer in nuanced and soundscape drumming in Australia, and the virtuosic and melodically charged Julian Ferraretto, arguably one of the most in-demand improvisational violinists in the country…both being PhD graduates of the Elder Conservatorium.
On guitar, the consummate Alain Valodze, an expressive Composer and Producer drawing influences from Flamenco, Folk, Brazilian, and Classical as well as Latin music, which come together to create Alain’s melodic and contemporary new age sound. Lastly, the understated Jamie Harrison on electric and double Bass, quiet by nature, though not in his artistry, commitment, passion and intensity of musicianship and heartbeat. A proud Kokatha man and a Graduate Of the Elder Conservatorium of Jazz.
English-born guitarist and troubadour, Chris Finnen, is renowned as being a master of Blues and World music, not to mention his razor sharp wit. Chris's narrative of life is highlighted in his recently released book, 'Finnenisms', which will form part of the evening's format. Vocalist, educator and producer, Charmaine Jones, is the founder and powerhouse of the highly acclaimed 'Gospo Collective', one of Australia's premier choral ensembles. Sri Lankan-born, Australian-bred, Charmaine's stage presence and charisma is second only to her renowned performances and improvisational techniques with the evening being a platform for her original compositions and vocal wizardry.
